  • What kinds of products do BuyShield warranties cover?

    BuyShield warranties cover a wide variety of consumer products ranging from electronics and computers, to appliances and home/garden products. The widget is easy to use and will tell you immediately if your item can be covered under a BuyShield Extended Care Plan!

  • How do I know BuyShield will be there if my item has trouble?

    BuyShield Extended Care Plans are backed by the industry leading AMT Warranty Corporation. They are rated A- (Excellent) by A.M. Best, an international, third-party credit rating organization. We work with the best of insurers so that we are able to provide you with the best in customer service.

  • What is the process for fixing or replacing my item?

    When you have an issue with an item that is outside of the manufacturer's warranty period give us a call at 1-866-927-3114. Our skilled team of responders will evaluate the situation and provide you with the appropriate repair or replacement instructions to help resolve your claim in an expedient fashion.

  • If I need to cancel or get a refund for a warranty, how do I do it?

    Give us a call at 1-866-927-3114 and we will initiate any cancellation or refund you need. Refunds will be prorated based on the amount of time the warranty has been used.

  • What is Accidental Damage from Handling?

    Accidental Damage from Handling (ADH) augments your Care Plan to include accidental damage from spills, drops, and other accidental breakage for the life of your warranty. ADH does not protect against theft, loss, viruses, or reckless and/or willful damage occurring from using the item in manner it was clearly not intended for. Cosmetic damage and pre-existing conditions are not covered by ADH.

  • Does BuyShield offer warranties internationally?

    At this time, BuyShield only offers warranties to buyers within the United States.
