    BuyShield Extended Care Plans are backed by the industry leading AMT Warranty Corporation. They are rated A- (Excellent) by A.M. Best, an international, third-party credit rating organization. We work with the best of insurers, so that we are able to provide you with the best in customer service.

    When you have an issue with an item that is outside of the manufacturer's warranty period give us a call at 1-866-927-3114. Our skilled team of responders will evaluate the situation and provide you with the appropriate repair or replacement instructions to help resolve your claim in an expedient fashion.

  4. If I need to cancel or get a refund for a warranty, how do I do it?

    Give us a call at 1-866-927-3114 and we will initiate any cancellation or refund you need. Refunds will be prorated based on the amount of time the warranty has been used.

  5. How do I use the BuyShield widget?

    We offer three different ways to use the widget: you can use it directly on our homepage, at eBay, or while shopping on retail sites across the internet. To use the widget on eBay or another retail site, just bookmark the widget from our homepage, and when shopping, open that bookmark to get instant warranty quotes on items you're viewing. You may be prompted to choose the most appropriate item listed that fits your purchase, from there, just click 'Get Quote.' Once you have your quote and are ready to buy the warranty, click 'Purchase Warranty' and you'll be guided through the payment process.

  6. What is Accidental Damage Coverage?

    Accidental Damage Coverage (ADC) guards you against life's little mishaps, whether you drop your cell phone on the street or splash coffee on your laptop. ADC can be purchased for most new items - laptops, cameras, cell phones, MP3 players etc. It’s not available for used or refurbished items. Actual availability of ADC for your specific item can be determined by getting a quote and viewing the options on our payment page.

  7. Does BuyShield offer warranties internationally?

    At this time, BuyShield only offers warranties to buyers within the United States. BuyShield is available to sellers internationally, but sellers must know that all warranties must be sold within the United States only.
